2025 Fall Mini Sessions

The holidays are almost here and that makes it time for our 2025 fall mini-sessions! Excited to catch up with all our fave clients, and make plenty of new friends. This has been a nutty year, so we're continuing the spring sale through autumn—minis are staying discounted to $400 with 20 minutes of coverage, at two location options on the specific dates below. Sessions are available for a maximum of six people in one single group (extended/large family sessions cannot be accommodated with minis, it's just too short of a time period). You have a maximum of five minutes of leeway, beyond that time cannot be extended as there may be another client waiting right after you.

Details: We keep it streamlined: each mini-session includes ALL final edited images from the session as digital downloads. At least 40 images will be included in a private gallery for you (but probably more). No need to pick and choose, you get the works.

Locations: This fall, we're offering two options: first, central San Diego the historic and rustic Marston House and surrounding area in Balboa Park, and in North County we're keeping it more urban and colorful at the Civic Center in Oceanside. You'll receive an email with detailed instructions for getting to the exact meeting spot after booking.

Safety: With the kickoff of the school year and evolving sickness strains, we're keeping with smart protocols for avoiding illness spread. We keep vaccinated and six feet away to protect all parties. We'll be outside in the open-air, but request that if you or any member of your family is feeling unwell, please reach out and we will of course reschedule you for everyone's safety.

SOLD OUT - SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28TH, 2025 - HISTORIC MEETS RUSTIC MINIS AT MARSTON HOUSE IN BALBOA PARK

It's been a few years so we're so jazzed to return to the charms of Balboa Park! This season, we're capturing the historic timeless magic of Marston House's gardens and the surrounding rustic cuteness of Balboa Park. Marston's red brick charm and sweet little english garden will make for a delightful backdrop! Features include:

The grand old craftsman mansion as a backdrop
Areas of lovely old brick, arched passages, and charming staircase nooks
Sweet curated formal english-style gardens
Old growth rustic trees and forest energy

There should be ample street parking in the park or on the street nearby (7th ave or upas). That said, you never know if special events in the area may mean that parking further south on Balboa Dr. is necessary. Allow yourself some extra time to arrive and seek out parking just in case! Please keep in mind that occasionally a private event booked at this site could mean none of the above locations are guaranteed, or in some cases other people may be hanging out or shooting photos there at the same time. Due to unforeseen events, it’s possible a mild location change to an alternative site in the park could be necessary. In the case of serious inclement weather, events may be delayed by a week or two.

20-Minute Late Afternoon Mini Session: Sunday at Oceanside Civic Center

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5TH, 2025 - URBAN AND COLORFUL AT OCEANSIDE CIVIC CENTER PLAZA

This year we're venturing north for our North County crews. Oceanside is such a laid-back cute city, and we love the bold and bright vibes offered at the Civic Center, especially with the nod to deco architectural details with modern chic style. From its glam fountains and white arches that evoke Santorini to the grand tiled staircases, this is a fun spot! Features include:

Modern large fountains in the open plaza, with a view of palms along Coast Hwy
Classic deco-inspired architectural details
Grand colorful tiled walls and staircases
White adobe style walls, hallways, and arches with blue pops, very greek energy

There should be ample metered street parking in the surrounding neighborhood or there is a garage attached to the buildings right onsite for the easiest access. Allow yourself a little extra time to arrive and secure parking! Please keep in mind that using public spaces means that none of the above locations are guaranteed—in some cases other people may be hanging out or shooting photos there at the same time, so we must remain adaptable. In the case of serious inclement weather, events may be delayed by a week or two.
